🌟 Meet Our Esteemed Judge: Ms. Yan Reksten-Monsen! 🌟
Formerly known as Yan Wang, she is the visionary Founder and Artistic Director of Yan Ballet Academy and Singapore Youth Ballet Company. With a strong classical ballet background, Yan proudly represents Singapore on global stages as a jury member for prestigious international competitions.
Born and trained in Shanghai, China, she earned a full scholarship to the renowned Shanghai Dance Academy at just 10 years old. Her professional career began with the Shanghai Ballet before she moved to Singapore and made a lasting mark in the dance world.
As a guest artist with the Singapore Ballet and a passionate educator, her students have achieved outstanding success—including historic wins at the Asian Grand Prix and Youth America Grand Prix. One of her students even became the first Singaporean dancer ever invited to the Prix de Lausanne—one of the most prestigious ballet competitions in the world.
